Virginia Journeys - Videos for "Geography of Virginia" Class

Virginia Journeys video segments are broadcast on GMU-TV and Northern Virginia cable channels (see GMU-TV broadcast schedule). They are always available online at GMU-TV's streaming server.

Video units have been prepared for some of the weeks in the Geography of Virginia class:

For the Fall, 2009 semester, the videos are optional (not required) material. Quizzes and the Final Exam will include extra credit questions from the material in the videos.

The completed videos will be broadcast by Northern Virginia cable channels (see GMU-TV broadcast schedule). If you are located in Jonesville, Suffolk, Chincoteague, San Francisco, Texas, Hong Kong, or Lisbon, however, you won't get those channels. Use GMU-TV's streaming server instead.

GMU-TV takes a break on some holidays, such as Labor Day. If the university does not hold classes due to holidays or storms, GMU-TV may not broadcast the "Geography of Virginia" videos on GMU-TV that day... so catch the video at a different time, or watch the video online.
