A series of "Virginia Journeys" videos were created in the early 2000's. They were video-based field trips, incorporated into the Geography of Virginia distance learning class taught at George Mason University. The videos were broadcast on GMU-TV and Northern Virginia cable channels.
GMU-TV demonstrated its skills in guiding a clueless adjunct instructor through the process of creating videos.
Now the videos are moving from the "current events" to the "overcome by events" category, but still may have value:
